Vintage Chinese Brown Glazed Pottery Jar-One-of-a-Kind Rural Vessel

Each jar has its own distinct character, shaped by hand, fire, time, and use. Jar A features a deep, relatively even brown glaze with a calm, balanced appearance and a mostly level rim.
Jar B has a more varied, mottled surface, where different shades of earthy brown flow naturally across the body. Its irregular, gently wavy rim gives the piece an especially expressive handmade character. Rather than imperfections to be hidden, these variations are what make each vessel truly one of a kind.

Sourced from the countryside of China, these old pottery vessels are pieces I personally search for and select one by one. I travel through rural China looking for objects with beautiful forms, aged surfaces, and traces of real life-pieces that are becoming increasingly difficult to find in exactly the same condition.
My role is simple: to be your eyes in the Chinese countryside, finding one-of-a-kind objects and bringing their quiet beauty and history into homes around the world.

Designed for a second life in contemporary interiors, these vessels can be displayed on their own as sculptural objects or styled with dried branches, dried flowers, or faux botanicals. Place one on an old wooden stool, console table, cabinet, pedestal, shelf, or directly on the floor to add warmth and texture to an entryway, living room, bedroom, studio, restaurant, boutique, or garden-inspired space.
Their earthy brown glaze works especially well with Wabi-Sabi, Rustic, Farmhouse, Organic Modern, and collected interiors.

Please Note Before Purchasing
This is a vintage, one-of-a-kind item rather than a newly manufactured product. Natural glaze variations, uneven coloration, firing marks, scratches, surface wear, small chips, irregularities, and traces of previous use may be present. Jar B intentionally retains its naturally varied glaze and irregular wavy rim as part of its original character. Please review all photos carefully before purchasing.
Due to differences in lighting, screens, and photography, the actual color may vary slightly from what appears on your display.
Free international shipping is included. Each pottery piece will be carefully protected and packed for international transit.

Because of the unique and fragile nature of vintage pottery, all sales are final and we do not accept returns or exchanges. If your order arrives damaged due to shipping, please contact us promptly with clear photos of the item and packaging so we can review the situation.
